When a restaurant joins Just Eat, they’re given an all-important online presence - connecting them to our network of over 21.5 million active Customers worldwide, and giving a greater opportunity to receive more orders.
We’re constantly developing a wide range of products and services that ensure our Restaurant Partners can get even more out of Just Eat, helping businesses to grow.
Insights, tips and tools
Our Partner Centre app, now fully integrated with Orderpad, has become the de facto operating system for many of our Restaurant Partners, and is typically accessed 1.4 million times a month in the UK. It offers menu amendments, invoicing, the ability to order consumables, and control of a Restaurant Partner’s online status, while also giving access to reviews and ratings, with a right of reply.
A real partnership
We constantly talk to our Restaurant Partners and ensure we do more together. That means more orders, more control, more value and more ideas.
For example, in 2016, we invested in hospitality-focused tech company Flypay to enable our Restaurant Partners to integrate with the Flyt payment platform. In the future, this will allow customers to pay for their meals more efficiently when eating in or paying on collection.
In addition to the technology and services we provide, we run national, multi-channel advertising campaigns throughout the year - encouraging the nation to ‘find their flavour’ and to connect with our Restaurant Partners in exciting new ways, on an increasing number of meal occasions.
We also help our Restaurant Partners to advance their business wherever possible. Whether it’s support on improving food hygiene ratings, or helping them to improve their Customer experience - our dedicated Partner Centre provides the information, tools, and training our Restaurant Partners need to be successful.
Helping our Restaurant Partners grow
We launched our restaurant services team in 2016, with the objective of using Just Eat’s scale to provide great products and services to our estate. Launching with Booker, the UK's largest food wholesaler, we have also added offers covering soft drinks, card processing, Wi-Fi, broadband, motorbike insurance, business rates advice and finance funding.
To deliver this, we have developed strong relationships with brands such as Coca-Cola, Sky and Funding Circle.
We already see examples of individual Restaurant Partners earning more from these relationships than they pay Just Eat in commission. We will continue to develop these offers throughout 2017.
